Finished with teal blue fine-lines on the body waist-line and hubcap beauty rings. The 2 tone metallic blue exterior colors elegantly contrast with the dark blue interior. The 1972 early 73) model years represent the last of the traditional chrome bumper models for the north american market and good ones of these are becoming increasingly difficult to find. This is a one such fine example. The body on the car is very straight and completely accident free. The car was repainted some 15 years ago and its current good standing is a testament to it being a good quality paint job. It is deep in lustre and entirely consistent in finish. There are minor marks, chips and little blemishes but these are minimal and entirely consistent with a well looked after example. The interior of the car is in stunning condition with its original connolly hide leather upholstery finished in navy blue in excellent condition. All the wood on the dash, doors, window surrounds, console and the vanity mirrors are original and in amazingly good condition. Further testament to the cars careful ownership history. This car does have some minor hairline marks in the lacquer finishes but these are minimal and not objectionable (see close up pictures). The headlining and original wilton wool carpet is also in amazingly good condition. All interior features and functions are fully operational including electrics – seats, windows, gauges, lights etc. The a/c blows icy cold and heater working well. The clock even ticks perfect time! Everything is all so clean and crisp. The steering wheel still displays in its deep glossy black finish. This silver shadow has its factory original 8-track radiomobile in the upper console and a late 70's period correct radio in the appropriate centre console position. The chrome, stainless steel and bright work finishes are all good without any pitting and the glass and rubber around the car is very fine. Mechanically, the car is in superior condition and the original presentation under the bonnet clearly shows that. All hydraulics and brakes have been inspected and serviced. The system has been pressured tested and bled and works correctly. This is a silver shadow that has had all its usual nuances and typical issues of its age professionally attended to and so is ready to. This is an absolutely stunning, like-new Rolls-Royce Silver Seraph finished in Masons black with hand-painted cream fine lines with Magnolia Connolly hides and black trimming. Here is a really stunning example of a silver shadow ii. A southern state rolls-royce all its life so it is a “dry” car that has had a garaged environment. As a result, it has been freed from the perils of harsh weather and is very clean underneath. It has always been well maintained and serviced and comes with its original manual, keys and tools. The shadow ii presented here has been fully work-shop by us at park-ward. Important costly items such as the hydraulics and brakes are fully inspected and serviced as required. This includes brake pumps, accumulators and checking of all brake hoses and system pressure tested and bled. It is ready to drive and enjoy. The car actually looks like it has done only 20,000! It is very quiet and smooth on the road without any of the typical “thumps” and “rattles” typical of poor (or even averagely) maintained examples of this model. The interior is simply wonderful. The burgundy leather is in great condition with little to no wear nor fading and true to its connolly characteristics (slight marks on driver bolster but minimal). The leather really has been lovingly preserved and shows the correct amount of patina. The burr walnut wood throughout the car is stunning. All the wood is original except for the 2 front door cappings which were redone because of seat-belt buckle chips. These were done to “factory standard”. The overall finish on the wood throughout is simply stunning and like new. It is rare not to see the wood cracked and peeling when at this age, so for these to be original only further proves its low mileage and cosseted life-style. Absolutely stunning! The head lining is original and in perfect condition. The original wilton wool carpets with leather binding are in excellent condition. Likewise is the leather finish to the dash and top-roll. Even the boot (trunk) carpet with the same theme is in excellent condition. The exterior presentation of this silver shadow ii is stunning. The body is exceptionally straight and the paint is of excellent high standard and finish. Areas of the paint appear to be original which is also unusual for a silver shadow as they usually all are faded by this juncture. There is some very slight fade on the left-side hood but it is minor and nothing that regular polishing won't maintain. All over she is shiny, lustrous and totally consistent with only the most minor marks and blemishes here and there. A regular polish and wax from time to time and this car is great. The car has a good set of white-wall tyres fitted with plenty of tread and the hubcaps are excellent with no imperfections in the stainless rings or caps. All remaining bright-work is in good condition. Even the clock keeps good time! The car is of very high standard and is an easy 10 out of 10. Climate Control✔ Air Conditioning
