The body on the car is straight and the paint is very nice. The color is a stunning combination with the Garnet presenting as a rich Bordeaux under sun light but then transforms into a deep plum and almost black hue in lower light and at night time, giving the car a very formal look Air Conditioning

This is a totally original Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow, finished in its factory 2-tone Silver Sand over Garnet (deep aubergine) with light tan Connolly hide leather interior. In the last 30 years, the car sat in a private collection of cars as an example of the Rolls-Royce marque. This is a totally original rolls-royce silver shadow, finished in its factory 2-tone silver sand over garnet (deep aubergine) with light tan connolly hide leather interior. This is an amazing original condition example with a low 55,300 miles from only 1 owner from new. In the last 30 years, the car sat in a private collection of cars as an example of the rolls-royce marque. Describing the car; this is an entirely unmolested and original example that is difficult to put into words. Never restored and simply cosseted its whole life with mostly original factory paint. Please understand, this dhc is not "perfect", with little blemishes in the paint and odd marks here and there. But, what makes her so special is she is so original. The purist will love her for that. The original interior is a major windfall with excellent leather, carpet and trimmings. The rich ochre burl walnut wood presenting in very good original condition (with only minor marks in rear seat ashtray surrounds and quarter rails). The door wood is excellent and the dash and console present very well indeed. Carpets are very good and the headliner the same - all original. As importantly, it has been maintained well. Many signs of original rolls-royce afctory parts. Although rarely driven, the car was clearly looked after by a well-informed rolls-royce caretaker who regularly maintained the car. Very clean, very true in all characteristics rolls-royce. Mostly original paint - on an early silver shadow/corniche is almost an impossible find. The paint presents well but does show some blemishes and marks. None objectionable and we think its "originality" out-weighs the blemishes. The interior remains virtually perfect and is an outstanding feature on this 4 door saloon. The connolly hide leather is stunning, showing its original connolly hide signature finish. Connolly leather has a 2-tone effect with a darker dressing in the depths of the grain. This shadow shows it off well with just the right amount of patina to look like, and feel like, a high-end chesterfield couch. The car drives smooth, without any bumps, rattles or knocks. It truly glides and “floats” like the rolls-royce of this era was designed and built to do. Testament of its well maintained history is the cleanliness under the hood. Not detailed but appropriately maintained. The trunk presents just as well. All external bright-work is well above standard and lights and lenses like new. Normally, the rear quarter bumpers rust out where the brackets are internally welded - not even a pit! The car is simply stunning to admire as well as drive.

Taking early "expressions of interest" on this very original 1969 rolls-royce silver shadow drop head coupe ("dhc"). This is the rolls-royce convertible before the company gave it the name "corniche" post 1970. This dhc is an original survivor with all the hallmarks of long-term maintenance. It has been owned by 1 owner for the last 40 years. Miles of 55,000 appear quite accurate. The car has been in storage for most of its last 20 years and used sparingly during that time but always serviced regularly. Body is straight with minor imperfections in the paint. Interior is excellent with all original leather and wood in very nice condition. The car dives smooth and strong and brakes and hydraulics are to speed. Either way, promise is a good clean straight example of an early chrome bumper model drop head coupe. Video overview: https://parkwardmuseum. Smugmug. Com/projects/69-dhc/i-2xm6rfz/awww.
